Remembering 9/11
As a New York firm surrounded by a city of people who were affected by the attacks of 9/11, we want to take a moment to acknowledge and remember the innocent people who lost their lives, those who died helping others, and those who survived to live with these memories today. Our hearts, thoughts & prayers are with everyone affected by this devastating tragedy.
This tribute is in lieu of our regular newsletter. We will return next week.
The Flat World Partners team
Family members of those killed in the 9/11 terror attacks gathered in New York City this morning at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the site of the World Trade Center in New York City.
If you would like to contribute to help build a lasting place for remembrance, reflection and learning for years to come, you can make a monetary donation to the 9/11 memorial & museum. All donations are tax deductible.
We tend to think of disasters as fixed in time, but disasters often affect people in surprising ways over decades. The New Yorker has thoughtfully written on the continuing human consequences of 9/11.
